Nikki F. Upshaw - Senior Vice President Sales & Marketing

Nikki Upshaw brings over 15 years experience to her role as senior vice president of sales and marketing for ResidenSea, Ltd., the management company behind The World, the first residential resort community at sea.

Tapped in 2001 to develop a rental program for The World, Upshaw’s responsibilities have grown to include worldwide sales in the residential and rental markets, the creation of strategic alliances and management of the company’s public face. Under her guidance, The World enjoyed record rental sales in 2004, is more than 85 percent sold and unveiled a comprehensive new web site and complimentary collateral material.

A graduate of the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing, Upshaw began her travel industry career in 1988 with Royal Viking Line. In 1994, she moved to Cunard Line as regional vice president, national accounts, where she helped reestablish Cunard following its merger with Seabourn Cruise Line under the Carnival Corporation umbrella in 1998. Prior to ResidenSea, Upshaw lent her expertise to start-up internet company - e-Cruise, where she created and directed the sales and marketing strategy of the organization.

Nikki Upshaw lives in Coral Gables, FL with her husband Rob and two children, Alexandra and Connor.
